Sophia Plunge – Fit & Size Guide The Sculptresse by Panache Sophia Plunge is designed to give fuller busts a secure, lifted and beautifully shaped fit. How should your Sophia fit? The Band The band should sit firmly and level around your body, without riding up at the back. A new bra should ideally feel secure on the loosest hook, allowing you to tighten it over time as the elastic naturally relaxes. The Cups Your breast tissue should sit completely inside the cups with no spilling, bulging or cutting in. There should also be no significant wrinkling or empty space in the cup. The Centre Front The centre of the bra should sit comfortably against the body. Because Sophia is a plunge style, the centre front sits lower than a traditional full-cup bra, making it a lovely option for lower necklines. The Underwire The wire should follow around the breast tissue rather than sitting on it. Check underneath the arm as well — breast tissue should be comfortably contained inside the wire. The Straps Adjust the straps so they feel secure without digging into your shoulders. Your straps help position the bra, but most of the support should come from the band — not the shoulder straps. Between Sizes? Bra sizing can vary between different styles, even within the same brand. Your usual bra size is a great starting point, but the fit on your body is what matters most.
